About the experience
This is the perfect experience for the eco-conscious creatives amongst us. Roll up your sleeves and experiment with the remarkable art and craft of traditional Japanese woodblock printing. Enjoy three hours of continual creativity at a bright London studio, guided by a practising artist who uses the space to produce his own work. Learn about traditional Japanese printing methods and the process of hand printing. Using Japanese bamboo barens, discover the art to this ancient technique and use multiple woodblocks and reduction-cutting practises to create a selection of bespoke prints. Produce your own unique artwork and experiment with various patterns and colours. Achieve some eye-catching effects and make multiple prints to roll up and take home. Brush up on those artistic skills and reward your curiosity with the versatile practise of woodcut printmaking.

- Discover the process of inking woodblocks and printing on different types of handmade paper
