The Athenaeum Hotel

Lovely spa with friendly attentive staff, cream tea was delicious.

We enjoyed a very pleasant night at this hotel. Our room was quiet, bed very comfotable and all necessities were provided. Staff were friendly and breakfast good. It is near bus stops so we were able to get around, to the theatre etc, easily by bus.

Bought these vouchers for my wife’s birthday. Process was easy and stored in my account. The Atheneum contacted me via email to obtain the codes so when we finished the hotel had taken payment so no need of searching out the voucher codes etc. We had a lovely afternoon & the service they provided was excellent. We opted to have additional bottomless Prosecco & they kept our glasses topped up at timely intervals, never quite empty. Afternoon tea was great, quality sandwiches & cakes.

A late Christmas present for brother and girlfriend. All guest vegan, everyone said it was amazing. Great food and lovely staff. We can't wait to go again.

My partner and I had a great and relaxing time at the Athenaeum spa. It felt like a near to private spa visit as only 2 other people were using the spa facilities at the same time as us. The two treatments were very enjoyable and we both felt revitalised afterwards.

Service was lovely, food was delicious. Who knew you could make watermelon ?? taste like salmon. Really enjoyed the experience.
