The Athenaeum Hotel

Bought these vouchers for my wife’s birthday. Process was easy and stored in my account. The Atheneum contacted me via email to obtain the codes so when we finished the hotel had taken payment so no need of searching out the voucher codes etc. We had a lovely afternoon & the service they provided was excellent. We opted to have additional bottomless Prosecco & they kept our glasses topped up at timely intervals, never quite empty. Afternoon tea was great, quality sandwiches & cakes.

Service was lovely, food was delicious. Who knew you could make watermelon ?? taste like salmon. Really enjoyed the experience.

We enjoyed a very pleasant night at this hotel. Our room was quiet, bed very comfotable and all necessities were provided. Staff were friendly and breakfast good. It is near bus stops so we were able to get around, to the theatre etc, easily by bus.

This was a delightful evening. The staff at the hotel were so nice, explaining all the food and wine choices. The food was delicious. We had one standard and one vegetarian and both menus were fantastic.

… and I have enjoyed quite a few! Loved the savoury variant- utterly delicious. The tea menu was exquisite and we could mix it up and try any that floated our boats. Great gin cocktail (I had Seedlip non-alcoholic, a thoughtful touch that not all hotels accommodate.) Best of all was the attentive Athenaeum service, we loved all the staff who looked after us. A late Christmas present for brother and girlfriend. All guest vegan, everyone said it was amazing. Great food and lovely staff. We can't wait to go again.
