The Oxford River Experience for Two

Beautiful Oxford, the city of dreaming spires is perhaps best seen from the river. The stretch of the Thames you’ll see on this fascinating cruise is known as "The Isis” and takes in the University Regatta course, historic Folly Bridge and Christ Church college. You’ll also see the Oxford boat houses, where the new generation of athletic students prepare for the famous Boat Race, and peaceful, quaint Iffley Village. On any one day, you may share the river with rowing eights, large pleasure cruisers and students or tourists messing about on punts! This most lively stretch of the river provides many opportunities to relax and witness the vibrant atmosphere, as well as admire the majestic architecture and sights of fascinating historic significance.

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Your voucher is valid for two people
• Available week round, from March–November
• Cruises last for approximately 50 minutes at the following times throughout the day – 10am, 10.30am, and 11am
• Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over)
• The boats don't have wheelchair access, but boat staff are happy to assist passengers with limited mobility to embark and disembark
• If inclement weather on the day prevents the cruise from taking place, all measures will be taken to try and re-book you for another date of your choice
• The journey will take approximately one hour
• All dates are subject to availability
