Tank Driving Taster in Leicestershire for One

One of the British Army’s most renowned fighting vehicles, the FV432 tank was used to transport infantry onto the battlefield during WWII. Nestled on the outskirts of Husbands Bosworth in South Leicestershire lies Armourgeddon. Featuring an intriguing museum that showcases a range of tanks and machinery, it makes for an incredible visit. This exceptional experience doesn’t only include access to this museum, but it also gives you the chance to command a mighty FV432 tank with the hatch open and through the periscope! Dressed in appropriate gear, you will receive a full briefing before you are led to the tank and take the controls. Your experienced instructor will then take you on a thrilling ride as you sit in the turret.

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Available selected Wednesdays and weekends (£20 supplement), April—October
• Minimum age: 16 years
• The maximum height: 6’4”
• Maximum weight: 22 stone
• Participants need to be reasonably fit to take part
• No driving experience is necessary
• For the purposes of safety, no dogs are allowed within the grounds
• As the experience is weather dependent, please check with the supplier on the day of the experience if it is still running
• Please wear comfortable and casual clothing with sensible footwear
• A maximum of two passengers are allowed in the tank for an additional fee per person (minimum age: 8 years) payable on the day
