After going through the basics with an experienced instructor, explore the River Thames by water and hop onto either a single seat touring kayak or Canadian-style canoe. As you embark on this relaxing five-hour paddle through Richmond, take in the area’s history as you pass the Eel Pie and Swan Islands and make a stop at The Anglers in Teddington – a thriving 18th-century fishermen’s pub. Here you can sip some cool ales and tuck into a delicious meal before paddling back to Petersham. Alternatively, pack your own lunch for a private riverside picnic and dive in for a refreshing wild swim to end an unforgettable day of wholesome adventure!
