Not a spa day
This is not a spa ‘day’.
Very difficult to book the experience. No online booking. Took several calls and an email. Offered a limited choice of 40min treatment (hot stone or Swedish back massage).
The experience: The ‘spa’ including the treatment room and relaxation room was a cool temperature, it was not luxurious, relaxing or comfortable for us, the facilities were very limited. Changing room with one toilet. Basic. Clean but had to ask for hand soap to be refilled.
I wouldn’t call it a spa, it was a gym with a few rooms attached.
Dressing gown and towel were not included, but we requested them as were told they were included. However we didn’t change as we were cold.
We were given a token for a hot drink from the machine, but had to queue behind staff to get our drink. I think customers should take priority. Dirty cups not cleared away.
The actual treatment was nice (Swedish back massage) from the therapist. Would have been nicer if the room was warm.
I would not recommend this experience.

No drive
Got here from 2 hours away only to be told needed full driving licence for this! Was not stated when booked through yourselves!

Poor hotel
Relatively clean- but the room was incredibly basic and we certainly would not book it again. It was a gift to us so hard to see what they paid but it really was not a space you would want to spend any time in. There was a very bad smell on the room and the area was less than desirable. Staff nice. Breakfast was again incredibly basic.

TECHNICAL FAULT
Although not the direct responsibility of Buy a Gift the Double Classic Car Driving Experience was cancelled today at short notice on the day due to a technical fault with the classic car delivery lorry. Having spent £200 on overnight accommodation in the area this outcome is less than ideal to say the least. How Buy a Gift and Everyman Racing deal with this situation will determine how I feel about the overall experience.
