About the experience
Escape to the skies and discover the dazzling beauty of the countryside below with this glorious gliding experience for one at Banbury Gliding Club. After receiving a safety briefing – which covers information about the aircraft, the flight and what to expect – take a seat beside your instructor in this dual-controlled glider and prepare for lift off. Initially towed by a light aircraft to heights of around 2,000 feet, the rope is then detached and the glider is released to soar above the clouds, flitting through the thermal currents. Revel in the remarkable views of rural Northamptonshire and witness the world from above with this unforgettable aerotow expedition. At the pilot’s discretion, you may even get the chance to take over the controls and captain the rest of this fantastic flight!
