Foraging Walk for a Family of Four

Immerse yourself in the natural world with this family foraging walk for two adults and two children. Foraging is a great way to live a more sustainable lifestyle and get back to nature by meaningfully engaging with the world around you. During this foraging walk with Totally Wild UK, you’ll learn about a wide range of edible species, from mushrooms and flowers to seaweed and other plants, as you explore your chosen location with a professional forager. Discover tips and tricks for identifying and harvesting wild foods correctly, including how to spot possible lookalikes. Plus, savour a selection of tasters to give you an example of how to put your newfound skills into action, including chutneys, jams, pickles, flavoured salts and alcohol infusions.

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Your voucher is valid for two adults and two children aged 12–16 years
• Available on selected dates, from March–November
• Please book well in advance to ensure best availability
• Please wear suitable clothing for the weather
• Sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long trousers are recommended to protect from nettles and branches
• Please bring water and snacks if necessary
• Please make the supplier aware of any dietary requirements at the point of booking. All food prepared is vegetarian
• Totally Wild UK will provide any specific kit required on the day
• Children under the age of 12 years are free to attend – one child per paying adult
• A limited number of venues do not allow young children or dogs, please check at the time of booking
