Waitrose Cookery Schools can give you the basics that'll take you from ‘can't cook’ to ‘keen cook’. Or, if you're already confident in the kitchen, they'll show you how to push your cooking to the next level. Spend a day with the experts and learn classic techniques like breadmaking and knife skills or tap into trends like Scandi cooking or Japanese street food. Afterwards, sit down and enjoy the results with a glass of wine. The professional chefs love sharing their tips that turn good food into great food – and the shortcuts that take the stress out of entertaining. And naturally, you'll be cooking with quality ingredients from Waitrose & Partners.

What's included?

• Choose from lots of different class themes, including Italian, Indian, Japanese, curries, breadmaking pastry and more!
• Classes are suitable for all levels of cooking skill, from complete beginners to more experienced cooks
• All equipment, ingredients and aprons are provided

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Classes are available on selected dates, year round
• Minimum age: 16 years
• Each class lasts for five hours. Start times vary, please check upon booking
• Classes are in groups of 20
• You will work in pairs and share a work station with each other
• Disabled Access: Adapted workstation available for 2 people per class
• Please mention any specific dietary requirements or allergies when making a booking
• Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Open-toed shoes and flip flops are not permitted
• Classes are suitable for all skill levels
