Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two at Tylney Hall

Four-star Tylney Hall is a magnificent Grade II-listed country manor house, set in 66 acres of stunning garden, lake, and woodland, in the heart of Hampshire. You’ll either relax in the splendid Italian Lounge, gaze upon the gardens from the Grey Lounge, or retreat to the secluded Library for a delicious classic British afternoon tea for two. Served on elegant china, your tea begins with a selection of finger sandwiches, including smoked salmon, egg mayo, cheddar with tomato chutney, and ham with red onion marmalade. You’ll also be served a selection of mouth-watering cakes and pastries, such as Chocolate Marquis with vanilla sponge and mousse, fresh fruit tartlets with fresh crème patissiere, and strawberry mille feuille. This is, of course, accompanied by warm scones with jam and Cornish clotted cream, plus the tea of herbal infusion of your choice. As if your tea wasn’t wickedly indulgent enough, you’ll each be served a glass of perfectly-chilled Canard Duchêne Champagne, to really pop your cork!
