Entry to Whipsnade Zoo for One Child

Head to the UK’s largest zoo for a day out that’s sure to delight any young animal lover. ZSL Whipsnade Zoo covers over 600 acres in the stunning Chiltern Hills and is home to more 10,000 incredible animals from all around the world. Make your way around the park by foot, car (extra charges apply), or even the Great Whipsnade Railway steam train (extra charges apply) and keep an eye out for your favourite beasts. See the lions prowl their territory in the Lions of the Serengeti area, watch rockhopper and African black-footed penguins dive around in the penguin pool or head to the Butterfly House to see a colourful kaleidoscope of beautiful butterflies. Children can even unleash their wild side in the outdoor play area, with climbing frames, bridges, a mini safari jeep and more to play around on. It’s sure to be a fun-filled day out that’s exciting and educational.

• The zoo opens at 10am every day
