Diving with Sharks Experience at Skegness Aquarium – Midweek Offer

Earning quite the reputation, sharks sure are captivating creatures, diving with them will shed a whole new light on your view of these fascinating animals. This will get you up close and personal with a whole range of species from bat rays and unicorn fish to black tip reef sharks and zebra sharks! Kick things off with an expert briefing and equipment orientation, before taking the plunge on Europe’s only aquarium shark dive for complete novices using cutting-edge full-face masks designed to optimise participant comfort – you’ll have full communications through the technology built into the mask with an expert instructor during the dive! Luckily for you, these mysterious creatures are non-man-eating and will only be curious about their new visitors. After braving an encounter with one of the most powerful predators in our oceans, come up for air and explore the remaining sea life wonders of the Skegness Aquarium.

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Walk-ups are not accepted – you must book this experience in advance
• Lead times can vary based on peak times of the year, so please book early to avoid disappointment
• Available Tuesdays and Thursdays year round
• The dives take place at 9am or 3pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day
• Your experience lasts approximately two hours, with 40 minutes spent inside the Coral Ocean display
• There will be a group size of four per session
• At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand
• Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum age: 10 years
• Maximum weight: 18st 10lbs
• No previous experience is required, although confidence in water is essential
• There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail
• Dive equipment and diving training is included
• Participants must bring their own swimwear, towel, and shower products
• Please note, you are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm your fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form
• Each paid participant may bring one free spectator. Additional spectators are charged at extra cost
• All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience
