90 Minute Archery Experience in Nottingham

Here’s an activity that will set you all a quiver, learn the ancient art of archery. British archers were once the cream of the world’s armed forces, their famous longbows winning such victories as Poitiers, Crecy and Agincourt. In legend Robin Hood lead his merry band of merry men against the evil Sheriff of Nottingham armed with bows and arrows. More recently British archers won Olympic medals at Barcelona, Seoul and Athens. Now it’s your turn to see if you can emulate their successes. After welcome drinks on arrival, you’ll be given a full safety briefing by a highly experienced instructor. Once this is complete you will receive expert tuition on how to aim, knock and loose your arrows (i.e. fire them) and how to improve your accuracy. Using modern recurve bows you will have several practice rounds before your experience culminates with a competition and a fun game of Balloon Mayhem!

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences

• Min. age is 8 years
• All dates are subject to availability
• Participants are advised dress appropriately for the weather and to wear suitable outdoor shoes. Toe-less footwear is not allowed
• The experience will last approximately 90 minutes
