Cream Tea, Steam and Sparkle Experience For Two at Ravenglass Railway

Take a simply magnificent trip from the only coastal village in The Lake District National Park to the foot of Scafell Pike with this this wonderful experience for two. Travelling on a beautiful scaled steam or diesel train of your choice, you will be taken on a blissful seven-mile journey through some of the most gorgeous countryside Cumbria has to offer and make your way through the Eskdale valley. You will depart from Ravenglass and at Dalegarth, will indulge your taste buds with a delightfully decadent cream tea filled with scrumptious scones and a delicious selection of sandwiches. Finally, finish off with a glass of chilled prosecco to end your magical day out in style.

• A seven mile trip on the Ravenglass Railway on a steam or diesel powered train
• A delicious cream tea at either Ravenglass or Dalegrath Station, consisting of scones, jam, butter, cream, a fine selection of sandwiches and your choice of tea or coffee

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• You can book your experience on any day of the week between the months of March to November. You can also check the railway timetable for scheduled services
• Please note: there is restricted access for wheelchairs
• You must pre-book your experience, including the cream tea
• You should allow between two and four hours for the whole experience
• You are advised that this journey is part of the normal train service
• You must take both your cream team and train excursion on the same day
• The train used operated on a narrow gauge steam railway
