Tandem Skydive in Cambridgeshire

To call yourself a true thrill seeker, you have to complete a skydive, and what safer and quicker way to give it a go than jumping in tandem with an experienced instructor, leaving all the technical stuff to them? Once you have been kitted up and run through the safety protocols by your instructor, you will board the plane and get strapped firmly together. It takes 25 nerve shredding minutes to climb to 10,000 feet, but once there it’s out into the deep blue for an incredible 40 seconds of free fall; your instructor giving you a full demonstration of his skills with some fun aerial manoeuvres! At approximately 5000 feet they will deploy the special two man parachute and you can both gently glide back down to earth, admiring the beautiful Cambridge countryside as you do. Once back on solid ground, you will have the opportunity, subject to the instructor’s availability, to try the indoor sky diving wind tunnel to top off a great adrenaline fuelled day!

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Upgrade to a 15,000ft jump (only on weekends) for £60
• At the Cambridgeshire location you will jump from approx. 10,000ft
• Your fully clothed weight cannot be more that 95kg/15st in order to participate
• You must be at least 16 years old to participate, however if you are under 18, you will need parental consent
• All participants will need to complete a Declaration of Fitness on arrival. All those over 40 will need to have a doctor complete this form on their behalf prior to the event, a copy of which can be requested when you call the supplier to make your booking
• If you suffer from Asthma, Rheumatic fever, Pneumothorax, Liver or kidney disease, Thyroid, adrenal or other glandular disordords, anaemia, epilepsy, fits, a severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction, you will need a doctor to confirm their Declaration of Fitness to Parachute
• In order to participate, all sky divers need to join the BPA, with membership costing £20 which is payable on the day of your sky dive
• Your skydive will be weather dependent. You are advised to call the supplier the day before your event in order to confirm there are no cancellations
• The experience in the wind tunnel is not guaranteed as this will be fully dependent on the availability of the instructor on the day. This can be checked by calling the venue the day before your experience is due to take place
